In fact, there is a glacier in Iceland that is so big that the rest of all the glaciers in Europe could fit inside it. But there’s so much more to this country than ice. Actually, it can be one of the hottest places on the planet! There are two hundred volcanoes in Iceland, and many of them are still active. Geysers and hot springs shoot steaming water up out of the ground.

The local people of a small Spanish town Bunol have a very unusual holiday – a tomato throwing festival called La Tomatina. Thousands of people take part in this messy event and enjoy throwing tomatoes. It is held every year on the last Wednesday in August. It’s one of the funniest festivals in the world. It started in 1944 when locals began throwing their lunch at each other in a square in the town.
