“So, where is the treasure?” George asked.

“I’ve forgotten,” Fred said.

“Let’s look for it,” said George. “Is it in the house?”

‘Yes,”

said Fred. “Let’s go downstairs.”

They went downstairs, and in the kitchen they looked everywhere. They found only spider webs. They were in the cupboard, behind the stove and even in the sink.

In the library they found lots of books but no treasure.

Next they went to the bedroom. There was only a big old bed and a large mirror.

George and Fred looked everywhere, even under the bed, but… nothing.

So, the two of them didn’t find any treasure in the house.
